Sydney Flatshare flatmate eleven

Because of work purposes I'm having to leave this fantastic flat in Cammeray. We're currently looking for a laid back, socialable mid-to- late 20s working professional to take my room from Saturday 18th July.

The room itself is quite small (it can fit a double bed if need be but it'd be a bit of a squeeze) but it does have its own balcony. It comes semi-furnished with a temporary single bed (it's done me fine over the last year however) and a stand-in wardrobe.

The apartment and location is perfect -- 10 minutes walk to Cammeray shops and Crow Nest (that's 3 separate supermarkets to choose from and a host of restaurants, cafes and pubs) and an easy 15 minutes walk to St Leonards station (15 minutes at most train ride to Wynyard, Town Hall, etc). There's plenty of buses that leave from St Leonards station and Cammeray shops to the city too if need be. As we're part of an apartment block we also have access to a spa and swimming pool -- great when summer rolls around. In addition we have quite a large deck -- great for low-key drinks with a couple of friends.

You'll be flatting with a guy and a girl -- a kiwi labourer that enjoys a movie and beer and an administrator from Victoria by day, DJ by night respectively. Both these two are wonderful, laid-back people who enjoy staying in as much as going out. You'll only be sharing the bathroom with the kiwi labourer.

The place can get a tad messy at times and it does (as we call it) 'have a bit of character' ie. the odd door handle missing so if you don't mind a bit of clutter then this'll suit you just fine. If you're also enjoy the creative field ie. arts, movies, music then that'll earn you bonus points. We also have storage space if there's any big items ie. our allocated garage space that you may need to put away.

If you own a car, then no worries -- we're down a quiet cul-de-sac where you can easily park outside.

We do have broadband internet temporarily set up on the kiwi labourer's iMac in the lounge and no foxtel unfortunately. Bills are spilt between the 3 of you.

The room is $150 per week, $650 per calender month and bond is one month's rent in advance. Given the location, company and living space however it's a steal.
