Quietish non-smoking household will have room for one more from 20 June 2008.
We like books, music, computers etc. We aim to be greenish & reuse/recycle where possible. Good conversation has often been a pleasure of the household, although we don't live "in each other's pockets". We usually cook separately, but once in a while we like to have a shared meal.
Past housemates have included post-grad writing thesis, painter (in the paintings sense), lecturers, musicians, mature students, and various thoughtful people doing various jobs. 2f + 2m + 1 new. Lesbian/bi/gay/trans people welcome, "straight but not narrow" fine too.
Approx 1 mile west of city centre, with on-street parking & small garden. Close to shops, gym/swim, library etc. 2 mins from bus route into town (turquoise line / Rainbow 1). Shared lounge, fgch, dishwasher, most usual amenities. Organic fruit-&-veg delivery once a week which you can share if you want (or not if not).
Available room has single bed, broadband connection & various furniture, & gets morning sun. £180 pcm in advance plus share of bills. Rent inc council tax / water rates. Deposit equal to 1 month's rent. Reference required.
We're "really" looking for someone who'll be here long enough to settle in & make it home. But until that person turns up, we'd also consider compatible people who just need somewhere friendly for a few months. If you'd rather pay a weekly rent inclusive of bills, it would be £60pw (works out a bit more expensive than doing the bills separately), and deposit would be 2 weeks' rent.

Hi,
I am looking for a new flat share. My housemate has moved out and am struggling on my own. I am not looking for just a lodger more someone I can share the flat with. The room is available straight away and rent is £310 inclusive of bills ex council tax and phone calls.
I am about a 5 min drive in to Nottingham City Centre about 10mins on bus. The tram is also close and there is also busses to Hucknall, Kirkby and Sutton which run about 10mins depending on whether it is Kirky or Sutton you are going to. Busses in to Nottingham are about every 5 mins.
I am just finishing off uni studies and haven't decided whether to do the Masters full or part time. I do tend to not be here about 3 nights a week and am out most evenings. I am chilled out and very laid back.
