The place is a two floor terraced house, with a lovely, big backgarden. The bedroom can be found on the ground floor along with a good size lounge, kitchen and toilet. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs as well as the main bathroom.

Park Royal is a quiet area and we have no problems while living here for the past two years. It is a 5 minute walk to a 24 hour ASDA which can be found across the road from the local hospital.

It is close to many forms of public transport. TUBE: 10 minute walk to Harlesden (Bakerloo Line and London Overground), 15 minute walk to North Acton (Central Line). BUS: 260 amongst others which can get you into central London or to surrounding areas like Ealing Broadway, Finchley Road, Shepard's Bush and Golders Green.

There is a local park at the top of our road and we also live within a 10 minute bus journey to the Willesden Sports Centre where some of us go swimming. We also have a local pub which has a beer garden during summer and is on a canal that runs all the way into Central London - a perfect activity for a summer afternoon.

the flat is pretty much in the centre of everything - we're on Petticoat Lane Market - thats a 5 minute walk to Liverpool St Station, and a 2 minute walk to either Aldgate or Aldgate East Stations...and a few streets over from the Gherkin. 10-15 minutes walk from the Tower of London too.

That makes us one of the best locations for transport in London...well serviced for both bus and trains, The West End is 20 minutes away by bus (outside of rush hour), 15 minutes by bike.

We're a short walk to Brick Lane Market and Old Spitalfields Market, actually 20 seconds from Petticoat Lane Market (Petticoat Lane is called Middlesex Street, because the Victorians decided a street named after ladies underwear was too rude), while still being far enough away from it to not be inconvenienced by it in any way

the bedrooms, bathroom and hall have recently been decorated and the large bedroom will be getting a new bed (unless you want to bring yr own) so everything is clean and tidy - its a ground floor flat in a block of what used to be council flats (a very english thing), and in an area famous for its history (Jack the Ripper tours go from Liverpool St Station) and for its night life - Brick Lane and Shoreditch are the trendy areas of London nightlife.

Its not much to look at from the outside, I have to admit, being a pretty standard London block of flats...and council flats were never pretty things, but once you get inside it has tiled and wooden floors and is secure and safe.

Basically we are a flatshare and the rent is inclusive of bills. Everything is included and the flat is furnished. We all get on well currently and the flat is friendly. We'd like to keep it that way with the new flatmates.

Unlike a lot of places in this area - it also still has a large and comfy lounge (most places in and around this area, the lounge has been converted into an extra bedroom, and the only shared area is the kitchen.)

If you are looking for a place during the summer holidays, or a long-term place to call home, and would like to live it like to live in Old Street, you have found the place! I have a short-term double room available! June through September, with opportunity to extend contract if interested. To share with two 28 year old girls, one from Canadian working in advertising, and a designer from Sicily. Both girls are independent but very friendly and social.

The flat is safe, cozy and easy to maintain. The room is small with a single (but new) bed. The flat makes up for the size of the room due to its atmosphere and AMAZING location. It is a 5 min walk to Barbican, and 10 min walk to Old Street, Angel and Farringdon - perfect location. It is a 15 minute direct bus to Tottenham Court Road - so you literally neaver need to take taxis!

The bath/power shower never runs out of hot water. The kitchen is small, but easy to maintain. A must see! There's a washer/dryer, TV/VCR/freeview and WI-FI.
