It is 15 minutes by walking to taksim square. Also, it is one of the most nice neighbourhoods in Istanbul. The district including Osmanbey is a historical area. You will be in the social and cultural center. The flat is 2 minutes by walking to the subway which is the fastest option in Istanbul. You may take the subway and then take the "metrobus" to anywhere in Istanbul. Or you may use the tram just after the subway. You won't have any transportation problem which is one of the most important parameters deciding where to hire a room in Istanbul. I live with my elder brother. He continues his MA studies in Philosophy in Bogaziçi University and I study sociology in Bilgi University. We both speak English quite well.
The price for the room is: 250 euros (about 500 Turkish liras) per month
The room is fully furnished (bed, table, wardrobe, bedside table, bookshelves, carpet, curtain etc.). The only disadvantage of the room is that it doesn't get much daylight.
The flat has 2 rooms, a living room, a wide hall including the kitchen and a bathroom. It is on the second floor.

If you're afraid of cats you must see ours!! your whole opinions will be changed!! :) And if you also have a cat, you can take her/him with you!!
The apartment is 5 min walking to Besiktas Center, where is a big center for public transportation to European and Asian side. It is 10 minutes to Taksim with bus and also 3 min walking to Tesvikiye, where you can find cool cafes and stores. For erasmus students, there is transportation to all the campuses at european side. Neighbourhood is one of the safest places in Istanbul.

You may take the subway and then take the "metrobus" to anywhere in Istanbul. Or you may use the tram just after the subway. You won't have any transportation problem which is one of the most important parameters deciding where to hire a room in Istanbul. I live with my elder brother. He continues his MA studies in Philosophy in Bogaziçi University and I study sociology in Bilgi University. We both speak English quite well.
The price for the room is: 225 euros (about 450 Turkish liras) per month
The room is fully furnished (bed, table, wardrobe, bedside table, bookshelves, carpet, curtain etc.). The only disadvantage of the room is that it doesn't get much daylight.
The flat has 2 rooms, a living room, a wide hall including the kitchen and a bathroom. It is on the second floor.
