All furnished single room. Internet, electricity, water,heating bills are included in the price. The flat is in Osmanbey; the neighbourhood which is very close to Taksim. It is 15 minutes by walking to taksim square. Also, it is one of the most nice neighbourhoods in Istanbul. The district including Osmanbey is a historical area. You will be in the social and cultural center. The flat is 2 minutes by walking to the subway which is the fastest option in Istanbul. You may take the subway and then take the "metrobus" to anywhere in Istanbul. Or you may use the tram just after the subway. You won't have any transportation problem which is one of the most important parameters deciding where to hire a room in Istanbul. My homemate continues his MA studies in Philosophy in Bogaziçi University and I study sociology in Bilgi University. We both speak English quite well.
The price for the room is: 200 euros (about 450 Turkish liras) per month
The room is fully furnished (bed, table, wardrobe, bedside table, bookshelves, carpet, curtain etc.). The only disadvantage of the room is that it doesn't get much daylight.
The flat has 2 rooms, a living room, a wide hall including the kitchen and a bathroom. It is on the second floor.
