Hi!
I have 2 rooms available in my house. I'm a live-in landlord - so if the prospect of living with your landlord doesn't scare you then read on!
The house has a lounge, kitchen diner, and good sized bathroom. Bills are included with the rent - that's water, electric, gas, tv, sky and wireless internet. There's also a sunny south-facing garden!
All the rooms are double rooms. One is available from 1st July (£290), and the other from 1st September (£310). They're initially available till 30th June 2010, although could be longer depending circumstances.
I'll be going into the 4th year of my PhD, so will be busy (hopefully just writing up!). I'm looking for people who are friendly, like chilling out in the lounge or going out for a cheeky pint or two!
You should be a post-grad or mature undergrad student, sociable and happy to help clean up around the house (there's usually a rota to keep things fair!).

Hello,
From August I have a very large and delightful room to rent in a recently re-furnished, spacious and well designed 3 bed Victorian town house. Five minutes walk from Cardiff city centre, ten-minutes walk along the river to the central station, ten minutes through the park to Cardiff University.
The house is great - clean, very light, bright and airy. You can breakfast in the morning sun, and in summer eat dinner in the sunset. Open plan kitchen/dining room, high-ceilings and large bay-fronted windows.
I'm an architecture researcher, and the house is furnished in a suitable fashion (!), with habitat and ikea furnishings and fittings. Its warm in winter (double-glazed throughout, and carpeted, with very efficient central heating), and cool in summer (wide openable windows, good cross ventilation), and quiet, as I constantly marvel at the quality of the windows!
The room is really big. Floor size of the dining/sitting room, with double bed, large wardrobe/draws and copious book storage. All quality Ikea furnished. Carpeted as well, with a tall roof light.
The whole flat, well the house really, was refurbished about five years ago and as such is in very good condition. No damp, no leaks, and no problems. I am the landlord on the property, so any issues you can deal direct with me (and hence no agency fees either).
Its been a great home whilst I've been studying, and we bought the place as somewhere to live - its not a money making investment thing. You'll share with myself and one other tenant, and we are really looking for somebody to be a good person to to live with..

Ill be moving out of my flat the beginning of August - and therefore I will be looking for accommodation in the city - close to the centre . I know its some time off yet - but I'm pretty organised.
I am not interested in taking a flat of my own again - for the mo I'm looking to lodge as I think its just so much easier.
I am a young gay professional ( 25 ) who is extremely busy .
I have three jobs which I juggle - they consist of legal assistant in a firm of well known solicitors in the city centre.
Part time beauty consultant for a famous brand of cosmetics & I also help out on time in my friends catering firm.
I also go to the gym as often as I can - and generally I live very quiet yet busy life through the week. I am VERY clean - and I expect the same , I'm not keen on mess or dirtiness , however I'm not a prude . I'm quite happy staying in on weekends , however I'm easily as pleased going out - I'm quite sociable.
I do have a car - so off-street parking or allocated parking would be appreciated.
I'm not looking to live in a house with students etc,, and ideally I'm looking long term - say 1/ 2 years at mo.
