I'm looking for someone new to share my two-bedroom flat in Harborne with, since my current housemate is moving out. The rent is £300pcm plus bills, which are currently around £44 per month, and the room is available from the beginning of June.
It's a new, first-floor flat at the Metchley Lane end of Cross Farm Road, right opposite the entrance to a short-cut to the University of Birmingham campus through the QE hospital. It's a 15-minute walk to campus and about 10 minutes to Harborne High Street.
The room is the smaller of the two but since the main bedroom has en suite, it comes with use of the main bathroom. It's also cheaper than the main bedroom.
The flat is technically unfurnished but the room currently has a double bed, wardrobe and two bedside cabinets which my current housemate is keen to sell on because she's moving into somewhere that is already furnished. The rest of the house has furniture which either belongs to me or the landlord.
The living room has a dining table and two sofas, plus double doors that look out over a communal garden at the rear of the building. The kitchen is attached to the living room and has a Bosch washing machine, oven, gas hob and large fridge/freezer - all new. There's also secure private parking available, plus the building has an entryphone system.
My current flatmate and I are both PhD students so we don't pay council tax. I'm happy for a non-student to move in, but they would have to pay the 75 per cent council tax that we would then incur.

I'm looking for two professionals to share a fully furnished 4-bed detached house in Second Avenue, just off Green Lane. The house is 15 minutes walk to Heartlands Hospital.
House is newly decorated, with brand new fitted kitchen (including new white goods) and new bathroom with shower. There is also a second toilet. Large private garden and storage.

Off road parking is available and a bus can get you to the city centre in 10 minutes.
It is a no-smoking house, so smokers will have to do it outside. Apart from being reasonably tidy and a responsible flatmate, there are no other house rules.
Currently living in the house are two chaps in their mid-20's; an Engineer and a Doctor who is currently working at Heartlands.
The first room that I have available is a large room at the front of the house and the rent is £360.00 per calendar month which includes all bills. The second roomis £340 and is overlooking the garden.
