There are lots of nice pubs and restaurants in this neighbourhood just 5- 10 min. by walk. The public transport (tram) is 24/7 available and there is also a circle train which is the fastest way to get from one point to the other.
There a lots of Supermarkets just across the street, where you can buy convenience goods!
If you want to go shopping the city centre Alexanderplatz is just 15 min. by public transport far away where you can find anything you need!
From the Alexanderplatz it is just a short walk to the cultural heart of Berlin the Museumsinsel where you can find 5 Museum on one place, and also the oldest University of Berlin, the Humboldt Universität.
