On the internet, confidence tricksters try to establish a 'relationship' with you by exchange of e-mail. The confidence trick (if it ever happens) is to get you to ignore the fact that you don't really know who they are or where they are, because you so want what is on offer that you suspend your judgement.
It is also fairly easy to not fall foul of this..
If you follow the rule that unless you can see the bricks and the landlord with your eyeballs, and you don't hand over any money, then the internet can't defraud you.

I'm currently living with two friends, one German, one American but as one of them is moving abroad, this season is now coming to an end.
We have a big appartment (5 rooms, 130 m2), and from mid April on two adjoining/ connected rooms (about 23 and 12 m2) will be available. I loooove this appartment because it's big, bright, has a big bathroom with shower and bathtub, two balconies, laminate,...
It's in the district of Weissensee, bordering on Prenzlauer Berg. Complete price for everything including heating is ?450. It's unfurnished, though, but I'm pretty sure sth could could be figured out if need be...
About me: I'm a 31-year old (German) highschool teacher, so I work a lot both at home and at school. I like the common rooms clean, but am generally speaking no nit-pick and pretty easy-going and very considerate of my roommates. As I'm a Christian, I'd love to share the appartment with s.o. who loves Jesus, too, just because it's cool when you can pray about things together :)
Other than that I love to laugh, movies, travelling, hanging and going out, meeting people but also just spending time alone or making music...
